RoadRunner Driver Education is proud to offer a state-approved New Mexico 6-Hour Driver Improvement Program designed for licensed drivers who need or want to complete a defensive driving / driving safety course online.

This course may be a good fit for drivers who have been referred by a court, employer, insurance company, probation office, agency, or other organization to complete a 6-hour driver improvement course. It is also available for drivers who simply want to refresh their knowledge, improve their driving habits, and become safer and more responsible behind the wheel.

Before registering, students should confirm that a 6-hour New Mexico Driver Improvement Program meets their specific requirement. This course is not the 8-hour Suspended License course required for certain MVD point-system suspensions.

Online and Self-Paced

The course is completed 100% online and can be done at the student’s own pace. Students will complete course modules, quizzes, and a final exam before receiving a certificate of completion.

Once a student registers and pays for the online course, there are no refunds. Students have one calendar year from the date of registration to complete the program.
