MEET THE ROADRUNNER DRIVERS EDUCATION TEAM

Kenneth Ortega is the owner and lead instructor at RoadRunner Driver Education. Originally from Las Vegas, New Mexico, Kenneth graduated from Robertson High School and went on to play college baseball before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. After serving four years in the Marines, he returned to New Mexico to complete his education, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of New Mexico.

 

Kenneth is also a dedicated high school economics teacher with Albuquerque Public Schools, certified through the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED). Additionally, he is a licensed coach, with experience coaching baseball and track and field.

 

Since 2017, Kenneth has been a committed driver education instructor, and in 2020, he founded RoadRunner Driver Education with a mission to equip New Mexico's youth with the skills to become safe and responsible drivers. Outside of his professional endeavors, Kenneth enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing and watching sports, and traveling.
